White Millet
Millet is the other white seed. Although white proso millet is a major ingredient in nearly every seed mix, it also can be offered to birds on its own. A favorite of many ground-feeding birds, such as sparrows and towhees. White proso millet has a slightly sweet taste and a high protein content.
